Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This individual will focus on selling our suite of healthcare products and solutions to C-suite executives at hospitals and healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of hospital and health system financials, a proven ability to navigate matrix selling environments, and a strong network within the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in targeted hospital and healthcare system accounts, focusing on C-suite decision-makers that need Madaket's suite of software solutions.
- Matrix Selling: Leverage strong relationships within hospital systems, working across multiple departments (finance, IT, operations, etc.) to navigate complex sales cycles and close deals.
- Consultative Selling: Position solutions that address the financial, operational, and regulatory challenges faced by hospitals, including compliance with HR133, provider data management, and revenue cycle optimization.
- C-Suite Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with hospital executives, including CFOs, COOs, and CIOs, to understand their pain points and align our solutions to their strategic objectives.
- Financial Acumen: Utilize deep knowledge of hospital financials to demonstrate how our solutions can improve financial performance, mitigate revenue leakage, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to ensure our solutions remain top-of-mind for potential clients.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead and /or assist in contract negotiations, driving favorable terms and conditions that meet both customer and company objectives.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth implementation and client satisfaction. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of software sales experience in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of selling to hospital C-suite executives.
- Healthcare Financials Knowledge: Strong understanding of hospital financials, including budgeting, revenue cycles, reimbursement models, and regulatory compliance.
- Matrix Selling Expertise: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex decision-making processes within large organizations, with the capacity to engage multiple stakeholders across different departments.
- Relationship Building: A robust network of relationships within hospital systems, including C-suite executives, and the ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust.
- Consultative Sales Skills: Ability to apply a consultative sales approach, positioning products as solutions to specific client challenges.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. An MBA or relevant healthcare certifications (e.g., HFMA, CHFP) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to senior leadership.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects and or attend industry targeted conferences/trade shows.
