In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. We are a world-leading strategy consultancy with deep industry and market expertise in CRM consulting and Salesforce.com and we are seeking consultants in the Salesforce space.
As a Salesforce Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. Clients regard a successful Consultant as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems. You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy process technology and information to increase effectiveness reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with clients and the development team to design and implement creative solutions with Salesforce CRM Applications.
- Strategic Consulting and Functional Leadership: Use your consulting skills and business knowledge to lead functional discussions to understand the client's business challenges and address them with solution architecture.
- Architectural Best Practices Advocacy: Establish and promote with internal teams the design and architecture guidelines and best practice standards.
- Active communication with the customers business analysts and other service delivery teams to perform regular operations tasks as well as solve application issues.
- IT-related education / IT Background (Business consultant IT Consultant role)
- Communication skills written and verbal
- Fluent English is required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Some experience with one or more of the following
- Fundamental understanding of the Salesforce product portfolio and cloud offerings
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration experience with declarative configurations (Flows)
- Salesforce certifications and trainings (Admin App Builder any cloud certification)
- Experience with agile development practices / version-controlled environments
- Experience with process documentation and visualization (e.g. BPMN diagrams flow charts or similar tools)
- Knowledge of Data migration and ETL tools
- German language is a plus
