About you:

As a senior software engineer on our Salesforce engineering team, you’ll be responsible for developing, scaling, and maintaining our Salesforce package. You bring a deep understanding of developing on the Salesforce platform, and you’re passionate about building well-architected software. You have a great eye for detail and you take pride and fulfillment in building well architected and maintainable software. At the same time you know how to balance perfection against business needs and understand how to plan for short term delivery, while maintaining long term maintainability. You do not only hold yourself to these high standards, but also strive to elevate your peers to these same standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development
• 4+ years of experience in Salesforce development (APEX, LWC, VisualForce, Triggers, etc.)
• Experience building & maintaining Salesforce packages
• Experience connecting Salesforce packages to external APIs (calling out and processing callbacks)
• Experience working with Salesforce DevOps (SFDX)
• Experience supporting customer-facing Salesforce packages
• Salesforce Developer certification is a plus
• Experience working with Web, Full Stack, or Back-end development is a plus
• Strong critical thinking skills & attention to details
• Strong communication skills
• Humble, collaborative, and self-aware

Responsibilities

• Owning and driving the planning & implementation of new product features on our Salesforce package (70% hands-on Salesforce platform development)
• Reviewing pull requests and safeguarding code quality
• Salesforce DevOps (Package build & release)
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to break down and plan large features
• Owning technical documentation
• Mentor team members about code maintainability, security and efficiency
• Identify future technical problems and bottlenecks that need to be addressed
