Senior Software Developer

Description:
Tempe, Arizona-based Pivot Cycles seeks a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and creative senior developer to join a software development team. The developer will work closely with the product owners, and developers to design, and develop technological solutions.
Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead developer on projects
• Architect, design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, reliability, scalability, latency, security, resiliency, and efficiency of technology solutions
• Create test plans, test, debug, and document services
• Follow and promote Agile best practices for development such as continuous integration, unit, integration, and automated testing
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, defects, performance, and design inefficiencies
• Actively participate in sprint ceremonies such as daily standup and retrospectives
• Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
• Be able to manage their own stories and seek out answers on smaller projects when BAs are not required
• Be Team-Focused, Responsive and Humble

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Solid knowledge of software development principles
• Knowledge of full stack development
• Experience with .NET, OOPs, design patterns, Source Control and Unit Testing
• Experience with relational database platforms
• Experience building RESTful / GraphQL APIs
• Experience leveraging APIs for software integrations
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms
• Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions at a high level
• Highly collaborative and willing to work in a cross functional environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Familiarity with mountain bike technology and culture preferred

What we'd be thrilled with (nice-to-haves):

• Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
