Ibotta is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our innovative Research & Insights team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.

The Research & Insights [R&I] department plays a critical role in assisting the organization with optimizing product launches, prioritizing resources and identifying whitespace opportunities. R&I is at the forefront of the research industry, regularly piloting new capabilities and speaking at conferences. R&I embraces an ā€˜all-in’ team based mentality, advocacy for the user/consumer and a focus on personal growth / development. In this role you will have the opportunity to work and interact with senior level executives and greatly influence the future direction of the organization.Ā 

This position is located in Denver, Colorado or with the option of full-time remote. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to help drive user-centered product strategy

  • Define and execute research plans for both generative (e.g., in-depth interviews, contextual inquiry) and evaluative (e.g., surveys, usability testing) research

  • Deliver a variety of research deliverables informed by qualitative and qualitative data (including personas, journey maps, custom frameworks, survey results)

  • Socialize research findings and best practices at all levels of the organization, including with senior leadership

  • Represent the ā€œvoice of the userā€ for various high-priority business initiatives

  • Proactively identify and integrate new approaches to research

  • Manage third-party research vendors, as necessary

What we are looking for:Ā 

  • 4-6 years experience in UX Research; experience must include an established consumer-facing product, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Background in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, HCI, Human Factors, UX Design, or related fields preferred

  • Understanding of UX foundational principles, both design and research

  • ExperienceĀ managing multiple projects, including logistics of participant recruiting, with great attention to detail

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO or with the option to be full-time remote. It includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity.

  • Base compensation range:Ā $90,000-$110,000. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. This range does not apply to Canada or Mexico.
