Purpose:

Accountabilities:

• ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Builds efficient back-end features in Java/Python & AWS lambda functions.
• Implements software enhancements, codes refactoring and performance improvements. 
• Builds and maintains APIs.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements changes to new and existing software applications and migrates them into organization’s target application architecture.
• Ensures quality and controls are in place, managing escalations, and developing and recommending solutions.
• Participates in design and codes small to large software applications as part of a team.
• Resolves complex software issues across multiple software applications and platforms.
• Communicates and presents software to the team, management, and stakeholders.
• Works in cloud data stores to include Amazon RDS, S3, DynamoDB.
• Performs unit test automation in a test-driven development environment.
• Uses DevOps concepts, tools, and continuous delivery pipelines such as Jenkins, Git, and JIRA Qualifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience as a Senior Software Developer, Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar duties under a different job title. 
• 5 years of experience with: full software development life cycle (SDLC); design and develop user interfaces and client displays; develop and deploy to AWS cloud, including S3, Lambda, or Cloud formation; Python; JavaScript; jQuery; CI/CD; REST API using FLASK framework; JSON, CSV, OS, requests, sys, and Pytest; XML, XSLT, XSD, and XML; MySQL Server; JIRA or Github; Agile; REST Services; Visio; SharePoint; Confluence; HTML; and Bash Scripting.

• Location: Woodland Hills CA with the option to work from home one day per week.

  Wage Range: $178,000 to $195,000/year
