JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of Windows application development experience using .NET to help build applications that support our Customer program management platform that empowers Customers to safeguard their supply chains, perform edge data analytics, and collect information from field devices into cloud-hosted data hubs for business intelligence. This position relies on extensive knowledge of and experience with C#, .NET Technologies to develop and/or integrate Windows-based applications with an Azure or AWS hosted platform. Candidate should be versed in all aspects of application architecture, UI/UX design, and development including performance, scalability, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, error logging and testing. Mobile app development experience and knowledge in Service Models (WCF, WebAPI) is desired.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Experience in & conformance to all phases of the SDLC to ensure a quality product.
  • Design, population, updating and editing of relational databases and stored procedures
  • Utilize object-oriented analysis and design techniques to deliver work products
  • Strong technical writing skills to generate applicable documentation artifacts relative to products or process. (ex. Design documentation, Release Notes, Build Instructions.)
  • Our SW platform ecosystem includes both 'build' and 'buy' solutions. Must be able to oversee, partner, and integrate with external SW development partners.
  • Ability to seek out & quickly embrace new technologies and provide creative solutions to difficult technical challenges.
  • Must be highly collaborative, resourceful, and demonstrate excellent teamwork in a cross-functional agile/scrum environment.

  • BS in Computer Science or related engineering field
  • Minimum of 5 years in Windows application development using .NET technologies
  • Customer focused UI/UX experience required
  • Strong knowledge of software development principles, architecture, and design patterns
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies like Azure or AWS
