We are currently collaborating with the European Investment Bank to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects at the forefront of digital innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide daily 2nd level support including problem resolution, prioritization, and root cause analysis.
• Engage in bug fixing, evolutive maintenance, and release management of the RiMA application.
• Lead non-regression and pre-release testing efforts, ensuring high-quality updates and implementations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by automating tasks and enhancing existing processes.
• Design and develop solutions using ReactJS, Java, Python, and RESTful Web Services among other technologies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT project management and software development.
• Proven experience in software analysis, design, testing, and web application development.
• Strong background in database programming using SQL, and experience with financial sector applications.
• Expertise in Python, especially with frameworks like Flask, and knowledge of Python Anaconda is a plus.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL, RESTful Web Services, CI/CD practices, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps, and Github.
• Excellent command of the English language and ability to deliver within tight deadlines.

Work Environment and Conditions:

• Location: Luxembourg and the greater region around it.
• Service delivery mode: The services shall be performed near-site from remote location allowing to reach Luxembourg within 2 hours' drive from Luxembourg city.
