We are seeking a skilled back-end software engineer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM watsonx.ai is looking for Software Engineer with Machine Learning skills to work from Cracow (Poland) office on edge-cutting AI solutions. In that role you’ll have the chance to get familiar with ongoing AI revolution.
You will be responsible for development of components that are part of watsonx.ai backend service performance profiling and cross language project work. You’ll be also partially responsible to drive development of components and features in watsonx.ai product.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 5+ years of professional experience coding and debugging in Python and experience coding in either Go or/and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience working with containerized environments (Docker k8s Openshift etc…)
• Experience working with and knowledge of topics regarding Machine Learning and Artifical Intelligence
• Basic experience with leading projects from technical perspective
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Working knowledge and understaning of machine learning and deep learning models (including Large Language Models)
• Experience with software architecture design including API (e.g. REST API SDK) design
• Experience working with on micro-service architecture and cloud environments is a plus
• Exposure to CI/CD automation
