Position Overview : We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of our cutting-edge data warehouse and analytics platform. You will play a critical role in building scalable, high-performance systems while collaborating closely with the team to solve complex challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to design and develop scalable analytics platforms and solutions.
• Build and maintain efficient data warehouse schemas, including star schemas, fact tables, and dimensions, to support fast and accurate queries.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data propagation from source systems to analytics platforms.
• Work with modern data integration tools and platforms to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Optimize data systems for performance and scalability, aligning with future business needs.
• Implement and enforce engineering best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data platform issues to maintain system reliability and performance.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Data Modeling: Experience designing and implementing data warehouse schemas (e.g., star schemas, fact tables, and dimensions).
• ETL/ELT Pipelines: Skilled in data movement and transformation using tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or Talend.
• Data Warehousing Platforms: Hands-on experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
• Programming & SQL Proficiency: Strong in Python or Java and advanced SQL skills for complex queries and performance tuning.
• Data Integration: Knowledge of real-time data tools such as Apache Kafka, AWS Glue, or Fivetran.
• Data Pipeline Orchestration: Experience using automation tools like Apache Airflow or Luigi for orchestrating workflows.
• Scalability & Extensibility: Proven ability to design systems that can scale with increasing data and user demands.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputed Tier-I/II institution.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on back-end development and data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems and analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of database systems, high-scale messaging systems, and real-time job queues.
• Familiarity with data architecture best practices for developing scalable and extensible platforms.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
