Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, you will help your team implement new features, refactor code, and improve product quality. We will challenge you to grow professionally, ship code, and help your team achieve business goals.
Responsibilities

• Understand our business
• Apply software engineering, Ruby, and Rails best practices
• Write sustainable, high-quality, high-performance code
• Kindly and effectively communicate peer review feedback
• Use APM tools to debug and diagnose issues
• Apply a security lens to your work and to your code reviews
• Plan work with Product, Design, and Engineering teammates
• Mentor teammates with openness, respect, flexibility, and empathy
• Participate in rotating on-call duties, including incident management

Qualifications

• You know how to design and build software incrementally

Technical Skills

• Strong competency in Ruby, and Ruby on Rails
• Experience and interest in building a practical design system and modern server-side frontend
• Experience with PostgreSQL and other relational databases
• Familiarity with background processing frameworks like Sidekiq
• AWS (or other cloud services), infrastructure as code, and CI/CD
• Understanding of web application security, observability, and a lot of other things about building and operating software and services

• The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $180,000-$200,000. Actual compensation and title will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
