Job Description

Bosch Automotive Service Solutions, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 655 Eisenhower Drive, Owatonna, MN 55060.

• Design and develop new products and maintenance of existing products, ensuring all business objectives are met.
• Assist cross functional teams in prototyping, designing, analysis, and testing.
• Assist in defect reduction and productivity improvement plans.
• Collect and track software defects ensuring that they are corrected in an efficient manner.
• Document software requirements, design methodology, and validation results.
• Participate in efficient and effective code reviews.
• Maintain revision control of the product software.
• Represent the team in a positive and professional way.
• Support production through problem solving and bringing added value by lateral thinking.
• Drive continuous improvement within the group.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or other occupation involving software development of embedded systems.
• Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Android Application Development utilizing Java and Android SDK; (2) Android UI Design and Development; (3) Embedded software development and C/C++; (4) Linux environment; and (5) Engineering documentation, such as requirements documents, specifications, and design reviews.
• Telecommuting: Telecommuting Allowed – 3 days work from home per week.
