Deliverables

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using TypeScript and frameworks like NodeJS, NestJS, and NextJS. Your work will help us support and scale our APIs to accommodate over 100,000 users.
• Build and manage event streaming queues using Kafka, ensuring efficient data processing and real-time analytics.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and AWS to streamline our development and deployment processes.
• Leverage AWS services and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to manage and scale our infrastructure, including EBS and RDS.
• Explore and integrate elements of AI, working with tools like PyTorch and Computer Vision to enhance our solutions.
• Approach every challenge with a problem-solving mindset, driven by a passion for AI, medical technology, or impactful solutions.
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you’ll contribute to building and scaling products from the ground up.

About you

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, particularly with TypeScript and related technologies. Experience with event streaming and API scaling is crucial.
• Proficient in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and AWS. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code practices and AWS services is essential.
• A genuine interest in AI development, with experience or a strong willingness to work with tools like PyTorch and Computer Vision.
• Driven by a desire to solve complex problems and make a difference in fields like AI or medical technology.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and eager to build products from the ground up.
