As a Senior Software Engineer you are expected to:

• Develop maintain and enhance WordPress websites and themes.

• Build and customize plugins to extend functionality.

• Optimize site performance security and scalability.

• Implement responsive and SEO-friendly web designs.

• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade legacy code.

• Ensure seamless integrations with APIs and third-party services.

• Delivery high code quality standards

• Collaborating seamlessly with designers software and test engineers in an Agile setup

• Share and promote your ideas towards the improvement of the products and the business

Success in this role means:

• Improve usability of the platform for our Product Team

• Introduce new features that facilitate site migration and creation on the platform.

• Sites are maintained & kept up to date

• Sprint commitments are achieved regularly

• You are able to challenge the decisions taken within the team with fresh new ideas and solutions.

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role

• Strong knowledge in PHP programming language

• Experience with Wordpress development

• Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL

• Strong understanding of responsive design SEO principles and web performance.

• Understanding of Core Web Vitals

• Knowledge of version control systems

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies

• Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)

• Ability to address change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways

Nice to haves:
