Senior Test Automation Engineer

Our Test Automation team is the secret weapon for ensuring the excellence of our development products on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, website, web app, and API. They automate tests to find any mistakes in the early development stages and take some weight from QA manual work. 

Test Automation team works alongside the QA and development teams and loves to challenge the status quo and each other to embrace their full potential. JavaScript/TypeScript, WebdriverIO, Playwright, Appium, Jira, and GitLab are good friends of the Test Automation team, and now, you could be too!

If you want to:

• Proactively cooperate with QA Guild and development team members to ensure product regression testing through test automation and integration into the development process;
• Take ownership of designing test automation scenarios for different types of products (mobile, desktop, web, API);
• Continuously work on building QA process integration into product development pipelines;
• Be responsible for conducting complex performance, functional, regression, and integration testing by writing automated tests that check for the meeting of the acceptance criteria;
• Mentor and train other team members on testing automation processes.

And you can check off:

• 4+ years of experience in test automation (preferably app automation);
• Experience in test automation using languages JavaScript/TypeScript;
• Experience using frameworks like WebdriverIO, Playwright, Appium;
• Knowledge of test case design and management;
• Dedication and passion for maintaining stability & ensuring quality.

Bonus points if you:

• Have skills in working with GitLab CI/CD;
• Have experience with app framework infrastructure or working with device farms for running e2e tests on apps;
• Have experience writing scripts using PowerShell;
• Are familiar with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana and Elasticsearch for managing logs from test automation frameworks;
• Possess knowledge of macOS, Windows, Linux, also Android and iOS environments;
• Have knowledge of iOS provisioning.
