Senior Typescript Engineer

Your role at Dynatrace

We create Chrome extensions that allow customers to record and play back web application tests.
Currently we aim to:

• Develop new features enabled by 3rd generation of our platform
• Find solutions to challenging problems using modern web technologies
• Improve supportability and diagnostics of the product

There is number of features possible to configure to create advanced scenarios verifying if applications are correctly working. We do support e.g., requests blocking, authentication, execution of custom JavaScript code, screenshots taking.
Recorded tests are executed on locations all over the world as well as on private locations created within customers infrastructure. Detailed results of executions are available directly in the Dynatrace UI and available for analysis.
Main tech Stack: TypeScript, JavaScript, npm
From time to time we use: React, Java, Docker, Node.js
What will help you succeed
Desired skills & experience:

• At least five years of commercial experience
• Practical knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on knowledge of tools and techniques for writing high-quality code
• Good English communication skills

Welcome additional skills:

• Knowledge of any modern UI framework (esp. React or Angular)
• Experience in writing tests with some common tools like e.g., Selenium, TestaCafe
• Knowledge of building technologies (NodeJs, Nx, Webpack, etc.)
• Comfortable using and writing REST-based interfaces
• JEE and Gradle build tooling
