Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented and experienced Senior/Expert Illustrator to join our Franchise Development Art Team. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment with individuals passionate about creating exceptional art demonstrates an attitude for receiving constructive feedback and consistently meets assigned due dates. In this role the primary focus will be on creating high-quality illustrations for external collaboration and marketing purposes cooperating closely with the Illustration Team Lead and fellow team members to maintain a cohesive style and uphold our commitment to excellence. Daily responsibilities

• Creating high quality illustrations in collaboration with the Illustration Team Lead and other artists on the team.

• Being responsible for original ideas and composition of illustrations.

• Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines.

• Following the guidelines and maintaining a coherent style.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• Excellent illustration and storytelling skills with an eye for perspective color lighting mood and composition.

• Strong skills in realistic and semi-realistic illustration proven by appropriate portfolio.

• Ability to efficiently switch between different styles and projects on a daily basis.

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

• Solid foundation in traditional art such as figure drawing industrial design and landscape painting.

• Experience working in a wide variety of styles but also able to work within an established genre.

• Understanding of technical requirements for not only digital but also printed media.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Ability to efficiently communicate in English.

Nice to have (Please note that these skills are not required to apply for the position)

• Art college degree.

• Ability to use 3D software in their pipeline.

• Experience in the gaming industry.

• Familiarity with CD PROJEKT RED's franchises and style.

• Avid and passionate gamer.
