Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a Service Technician/Systems Administrator with experience in the deployment, maintenance, and administration of physical security systems to support Robinhood’s Physical Security Systems and Technology (PSST) team.Â
The role will primarily be responsible for ensuring functionality and preventative maintenance of all physical security hardware across all of Robinhood’s offices. The role will also act as an administrator for Access Control, Alarm Management, Video Management, Visitor Management, and other technology verticals and their integrations (including but not limited to: Lenel, Avigilon, Genetec, 2N, and Envoy) and will have experience using tools such as Looker & Jira for metrics collection, assessment, and recommendations on workflow improvements.
This is a full-time position working out of Robinhood’s Menlo Park office.Â

Essential Job Functions
- Maintain Tier 1-2 support break/fix queue for all service initiatives - troubleshoot and coordinate the appropriate response to resolve all systems related issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain incoming ticketing queue for fulfilling systems requests (experience with Jira is a plus).
- Perform programming on newly installed security devices - drive preventative maintenance to support healthy device lifecycles.
- Be hands-on with physical security devices including testing and commissioning.
- Maintain accurate systems repository including loadsheets and drawings.
- Monitor and maintain all service & request metrics.-
Account for all Robinhood inventory of physical security systems stock hardware.
- Provide support for Robinhood Security cross-functional partners, vendors, and integrators.
- Work with Network Engineers, IT, Workplace, and Real Estate teams to troubleshoot and monitor system related issues.
- Provide technical support for end users of physical security deployed technologies.
- Routinely run occupancy reports that help drive business decisions.
- Be able to work after hours/weekends for critical issues when necessary.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience with the deployment, maintenance, and administration of physical security systems.
- Ability to act as a Systems Administrator for Access Control, Alarm Management, Video Management and Visitor Management (Lenel, Avigilon, Genetec, 2N, and Envoy).
- Experience using tools such as Looker & JIRA for metrics collection, assessment, and recommendations on workflow improvements.
- Genetec SC-OTC-001 and SC-STC-001 Certifications is a plus.Â
