We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to join our team on a permanent or contract basis to support the Technology Services (TS) Branch of the Federal Reserve Board. In this role, you will work on the analysis, design, development, documentation, and implementation of SharePoint solutions. The SharePoint Developer will be based out of our Bethesda, MD (DC) office location.

How You’ll Spend Your Time: 

  • Gathering and documenting business and system requirements from internal and external stakeholders
  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying SharePoint solutions including sites, pages, lists, libraries, content types, workflows, and custom web parts
  • Migrating content from existing systems to SharePoint
  • Integrating SharePoint with other systems and applications
  • Providing Tier 3 end-user support for SharePoint solutions
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation
  • Ensuring solutions adhere to SharePoint governance policies and best practices

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing SharePoint solutions
  • Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server 2016/2019, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and SharePoint workflows
  • Strong experience with .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration
  • Knowledge of web services, REST APIs, SQL Server
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint development
  • Experience working on U.S. government contracts
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools

This is a full-time permanent or contract position located in the Washington D.C. metro area. Some remote work may be possible. The contract duration is one base year plus two option years.

The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in Washington, D.C. please see below. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. Washington, D.C. ranges are from $140,000 - $150,000
