Sheet Metal Installer

Job Title:Sheet Metal Installer Location:Bedford Park, IL Pay Rate:$35.00 – $45.00 Per Hour + Bonus & Commission opportunities Position Overview: Seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components for HVAC systems across residential and commercial projects. This role requires experience with blueprint reading and a strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality, code-compliant installations. Key Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal for HVAC ductwork and related components • Install sheet metal in both new construction and retrofit applications • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications accurately • Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes • Coordinate with team members, contractors, and supervisors on-site • Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal installation or HVAC ductwork preferred • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams • High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (training available if needed) Benefits: • Multiple medical insurance plans with employer contributions • Free employee-only dental and vision coverage • Supplemental insurance options • Free short-term disability coverage • Discounted long-term disability and additional life insurance options • Paid vacation, holidays, and personal time off • 401(k) with employer matching Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
