Job Description

Shriners Children's Chicago seeks a dynamic and energetic pediatric hospitalist to join our team.

Shriners Children's is a leading pediatric healthcare system specializing in burn, orthopedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and other subspecialties. Facility Details:

  • 60-bed licensed hospital with 6 dedicated PICU rooms and 6 designated for inpatient rehabilitation.
  • Average daily census is 10-12
  • 30 minutes from downtown Chicago.
  • Inpatient and outpatient care, pediatric ICU, and multiple specialties.
  • Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support.
  • Partnered with the University of Illinois Hospital for advanced services.
  • State-of-the-art motion analysis center.
  • Certified by the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
Details and Benefits
  • 12-hour shifts: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, Monday through Friday
  • Maximum of 36 hours per week
  • Includes weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Exclusive service provision during shifts.
  • Hospitalists will manage schedules to ensure continuous coverage and care for patients.
  • DEA certification and PALS required.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics preferred.
  • Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine or hospitalist fellowship training preferred.
