Site Reliability Engineer (Front-end focused)

The Frontend team is in charge of making sure that the visual elements of a website or mobile app are functional. To create an exceptional user experience, we think from the client's perspective and incorporate UI/UX design. Our expertise helps us come up with world-leading solutions. 

Main Responsibilities

• Reliability and Performance:
• Monitor and maintain the health, uptime, and performance of high-traffic websites.
• Implement and manage service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Development and Operations:
• Develop, deploy, and manage frontend applications using modern frontend stacks (e.g., Astro, React, Node.js)
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems
• Collaborate with the security team to prevent and fix security vulnerabilities.
• Infrastructure and Scaling:
• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and conducting post-incident reviews.
• Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and developer productivity.
• Identify and implement best practices for reliability engineering and front-end development.

Core Requirements

• General knowledge of modern frontend stacks such as Astro, React.
• Experience with high-traffic websites and performance optimization techniques.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Hands-on experience with Gitlab CI/CD for continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana.
• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
• Background in managing and scaling high-traffic, user-facing applications.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare services and optimization techniques is a significant plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
