IBM has an opening for Site Reliability Engineer Intern to join our team and help build highly reliable scalable and efficient systems. In this role you will collaborate with development and operations teams to design implement and maintain infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational experience who is eager to grow in the SRE discipline.SRE Engineers participate in various aspects of the life cycle test and support process such as:
* Assist in monitoring and maintaining system reliability across production environments.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation for deployment and operations.
* Help troubleshoot and resolve incidents ensuring minimal downtime.
* Contribute to documentation and process improvements for system reliability.
* Learn and apply best practices in observability performance tuning and capacity planning.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.
Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python Go or similar).
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
Exposure to containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions).
Understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana).
