As an Account Executive for our Small to Medium sized business, you will drive business opportunities through the end to end sales cycle engaging with CoFounder’s, CEO’s and C-Level decision makers. The goal is to drive incremental revenue from existing customers and to close new business opportunities from within your territory. Some selling points for this role include:

  • It is an EMEA wide remit, so you can prospect into multiple countries and are not restricted to one small territory.
  • You get to engage and negotiate with CoFounder’s. CTO’s, Director of Ecommerce and many more senior titles so you will learn new skills daily.
  • We have a really great product and team (I might be biased being the hiring manager)

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Managing and growing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets. Full sales cycle.
  • Strategic prospecting into target accounts within your territory
  • Communicating transparently both internally and externally
  • Turning inbound and outbound leads into happy Algolia users
  • Collaborating across teams to better focus customer-facing efforts
  • Building compelling demonstrations and sales materials for your customers and prospects.

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Excellent English and fluent German language skills.
  • 12+ months experience in a closing role. 
  • Multi-tasking skills who can adapt to changing situations
  • A quick thinker, who can handle questions on the fly
  • Ability to work in an autonomous environment
  • Experience at our current stage and beyond ($100-200M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure)
