Roles & Responsibilities • Monitor and manage compute, storage, and data sharing costs.• Optimize compute with scale out and scale in planning.• Performance tune virtual warehouses.• Create new databases, new schema and data sharing.• Implement security, roles, users and privileges using RBAC model.• Snowflake utilities clone, Time travel, Data sharing and Data replication• Implement data encryption/decryption/masking policies to protect PII/PCI data• Develop SQL Scripts and Stored Procedures.• Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Sharing concepts.• Strong DBA administration skills for all DB maintenance plan activities including backups, storage integrity, and consistency checks, etc.• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems performance tuning and optimization.• Proactively identify, design, and implement process improvements like automating manual processes, optimizing data flow, increasing scalability etc.• Knowledge in Snowflake security features including access control, authentication, authorization, encryption, masking, secured views etc.• Skilled in relational and dimensional modeling.• Experience with Snowflake and its utilities i.e. SnowSQL, SnowCD etc.• Were seeking candidates that MUST have solid hand-on experience on cost optimization, RBAC, D/R as well as every day run of the mill support issues
