The Opportunity
DAT is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team in our Beaverton, OR office.
We’re looking for a results-driven communications professional and team player who can confidently partner with key functions such as Sales and Product, and lead DAT’s social media program from strategy through to execution, measurement and reporting.
You’ll bring all your experience growing a dynamic social presence to a next-generation SaaS technology company that has been at the leading edge of innovation in transportation supply chain logistics for 45 years.

Candidate Profile
- Seasoned marketer with expertise and proven track record in social media. A natural communicator with a passion for building and nurturing online communities.
- Team player and leader, with proven success in developing, implementing, measuring and reporting social media marketing strategies and plans.
- Strong collaborator with experience working with leadership teams, customers, and partners alike.
- Experience developing programs from the ground up, with strong project management skills.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a social media strategy for DAT, leveraging DAT’s existing capabilities, and taking our social media presence to the next level.
- Use social media to drive interest in DAT’s industry-leading products and services.
- Lead end-to-end community engagement on existing social channels - LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube - and identify new areas for DAT to have a presence.
- Support key business releases and initiatives via social media, in addition to designing and executing standalone social media campaigns.
- Build and nurture meaningful relationships with social communities, and DAT’s portfolio of social influencers, to ultimately acquire, retain and convert customer leads, while positioning DAT as a thought leader across social key partners and customers.Â
- Manage social media performance and budget metrics, reporting out regularly to the business.
The Skills You’ll Need
- 5-10 years working in social media.
- Proven success building and executing on social media campaigns that have generated measurable results.
- Action-oriented and results-driven.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven, with the ability to define and measure KPIs.
- Savvy with social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Buffer, and Canva.
- Experience in crisis communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and social marketing skills.
- Able to strategically advocate for social media internally, tying social media to the business and marcomms strategy.
- Collaborative, dependable and consistent. Â
- Aptitude to find solutions and implement them.
- Strong project management and prioritization.
- Analytical and sharp business acumen.
- Content creation skills.
- Experience with virtual events.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
