Socius Marketing is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our team of talented SEO specialists, writers, designers, paid search specialists and developers. You'll work closely with clients and team members across all departments to drive winning search engine optimization and digital marketing strategies that support the brand, voice and business goals of our clients.

This position is also available to be fully remote.

What you'll be doing:
The Senior SEO Specialist will be a member of a team of subject matter experts within the agency that services key accounts, provides training across departments, and keeps our services aligned with digital marketing trends. We are seeking a natural leader who can Manage the Search Engine Optimization responsibilities of client's websites. Bring on SEO solution expertise in projects for effective delivery of broad milestones as well as micro level tasks in projects to achieve the campaign KPIs and business goals for clients. The role will be responsible for the planning and execution of SEO objectives, be a thought leader within the agency, and deliver exceptional results to our amazing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to identify SEO problems or inhibiting factors, diagnose the root cause and devise effective intervention.
• On-page Optimization and Off-page optimization. All associated steps, including website structure, Technical SEO, keyword analysis, Meta tags, titles, submissions, traffic analysis and rank optimization etc.
• Leveraging competitor research to advance client campiagns
• Deep understanding of building organic traffic and improving SERPs.
• Work closely with Content Writing and Content marketing teams. Content skill is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of current SEO tools and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Algorithms
• Identifying and implementing strategies for increasing website traffic through organic search listings without being blacklisted.
• Research and identify URL architecture, page errors, content and navigational issues, and other factors that impact the technical performance of a website.
• Work heavily with SEO tools, especially Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster Tools, MOZ, Ahrefs, SEMrush etc.
• Work on the ON page levels and make the keywords and revenue perform for Clients' websites.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years agency experience in a client-facing SEO role
• Experience working directly with high profile clients in competitive markets
• Proven track record of successful SEO campaigns and can articulate strategy and a path to success within search engine optimization
• Ability to present SEO findings and strategy to an executive audience
• Proven track record of developing and implementing content strategies that drive relevant traffic to client websites
• Knowledge of site information architecture best practices
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Experience with SEO and marketing tools such as SEMRush, AHrefs and Moz
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority accounts, from new client onboarding to project execution
• Experience in developing and presenting strategies to key stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects across departments in an organized and efficient manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities and a desire to consistently improve the quality of work delivered to clients
• Core level of understanding of WordPress and CMS functionality
