Software Engineer, Front End

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer specializing in front-end development with a strong emphasis on JavaScript technologies like Angular, React, of Vue.JS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance front-end user interfaces in a distributed cloud environment. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with members of the product, engineering, executive, and operations departments. 

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement user-facing features end-to-end 
• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to prototype and implement product features
• Communicate effectively with other engineers, product managers, customers, and partners in a cross-functional team 

Who You Are: 

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on front-end user interface development.
• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with responsive design, web standards, and UI/UX best practices.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with JavaScript and more specifically TypeScript.
• Experience with SCSS/SASS/LESS.
• Experience in working with RxJS and event streams.
• Knowledge of package managers like pnpm, NPM, Bower, and Yarn.
• Knowledge of RESTful API web services, design, and development.

Pluses:

• Experience in working with Angular 17+ and signals.
• State management using NgRX store and component store.
• Understanding how Angular Server Side Rendering works.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Dotnet Core and other Microsoft technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server).
• Knowledge with microservices architecture.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $140,000 to $175,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc (“Crexi”) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
