TITLE:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Software Engineer, Full-Stack
LOCATION: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Blockgraph, LLC, 1384 Broadway, Floor 20, New York, NY 10018
SALARY:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â $142,563 to $150,000 per year
DUTIES:
Build out the user interface that is used by the largest media and video distribution companies as they shift their businesses towards a new data-driven advertising ecosystem. Implement features and user interfaces for Blockgraph product. Architect efficient and reusable front-end that drives web application. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver compelling products. Build automation testing for user interface to validate use cases. Work closely with development team to build packaging and deployment programs. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus four (4) years of full-stack software engineering experience building micro-service applications; two (2) years of experience in Java or C++ programming languages to develop features on top of the data platform; two (2) years of experience with data structures and algorithms skills to be able to drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve the performance, availability and scalability of the program; one (1) year of experience in UI/UX using Angular or React web platforms to be able to implement feature enhancements to the UI/UX; one (1) year of experience in both SQL and NoSQL database to be able to review schema and database performance; one (1) year of experience in streaming technologies such as kafka or kinesis (or similar data streaming technology) to review and improve system design.
