As a Software Engineer working in the Research team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of prototypes for cloud-based products that multiple companies will use to protect their customers online. We love developing designs in agile and iterating fast. You will be building solutions from zero to one.

Responsibilities

• You will be working with data scientists & machine learning engineers to build cutting-edge products
• Lead high-complexity projects from scoping to production
• Apply a data-driven approach to a wide variety of signals to identify, understand, and scope emerging fraud trends and uncover root causes
• Participate in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy
• Work with the Security Operations team to automate processes through applied machine learning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in building backend systems and a Master's and/or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline
• At least 3+ years of experience with NodeJS/ Rust/ Python
• At least 2+ years of experience with SQL/ NoSQL databases ( ElasticSearch, Cassandra, etc)
• Ability to rapidly prototype and build POCs
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design & problem-solving.
• Understand and advocate principles of good software design and documentation through code review, style and guideline definition, and technical mentorship
• Beginner-level understanding of machine learning, computer vision, and large language models.
