$80,000-$130,000 Base Salary, Position eligible for additional incentives including bonus, 401k match, health and welfare benefits.

Hybrid, 3-days onsite/2-days remote. The office is located in Atlanta near Braves Stadium.

National Funding (NF) is creating a new, state-of-the-art digital lending company, smallbusinessloans.com (SBL). SBL will launch fully digital lending offering targeted to SMBs seeking an automated loan experience. The company will differentiate itself from competitors via superior technology, risk management, data science, a fully digital UI, and a customer-first experience that emphasizes ease of use, fairness and transparency in pricing, and recognition of customer loyalty.
In order to maximize speed-to-market and efficiency, SBL intends to leverage the availability state-of-the art technology service providers and platforms. At the same time, SBL will build a robust set of modules around these platforms that will serve to differentiate SBL’s offerings in the marketplace and to its customers.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of both frontend and backend components, as well as API integrations with third-party vendors. This position requires a strong understanding of WordPress development, API testing, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create comprehensive test plans outlining test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual and automated testing on frontend and backend components.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure API endpoints are effectively tested for reliability and performance.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with the developers and product owners to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual or automated QA testing.
• Strong understanding of frontend and backend development technologies.
• Experience testing API using Postman or similar tools/framework.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
