QA Test Engineer

STE I/II, 1-3 years experience

Cricket.com is looking for a QA Test Engineer interested in building performant and

highly scalable applications. You will be responsible for building and testing various

mission critical server-side and middleware components, while collaboratively working

with the Engineering, Product and Design teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience testing low-latency services and APIs that are

fault tolerant and always available. In the process the candidates will become adept at

handling large and loosely coupled systems that elegantly scale and span across millions

of users.

We are looking for a well-organized, goal-oriented, highly motivated, and effective team

member with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

● Own the overall quality of our products.

● Automate all aspects of QA.

● Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple products.

● Follow and maintain QA processes, champion continuous testing/automation.

● Collaborate with a team of QA engineers.

● Troubleshoot production defects and performance issues.

● Work closely with the Product and Development teams to build world-class

products.

Requirements

● 1-3 years of experience in software testing.

● Knowledge of Performance / Load testing.

● Rest API/Postman, Mobile App IOS/Android, Troubleshooting and writing test case

testing.

● Good Understanding of agile testing methodologies.

● Expertise in web, android and iOS app testing.

● Able to troubleshoot the issues and do RCA.

● Test case writing and management.

● Good knowledge of HTTP, server, and rest APIs.

● Work closely with developers and product owners to understand the systems

being tested.

● Experience with testing tools for Android and iOS (i. e., Android Studio, Android

SDK, Charles proxy/proxy man, ADB, DDMS, Xcode, etc. ) is a great plus

● Must have a background in a product-based domain.

● Excellent communication skills.

● Detail-oriented, Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving skill.
