Procurement Solution Architect at IBM you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing Procurement solutions for enterprise clients.
IBM’s Business Operations delivers end-to-end business process services leveraging IBM's advanced technologies like AI automation and data analytics to help clients optimize their operations reduce costs improve efficiency and drive innovative employee and candidate experiences.
As a Solution Architect in Business Operations you will leverage your experience in Procurement Transformation and IBM’s advanced technologies to develop compelling client-centric solutions. You will work closely with our business operations delivery team and industry thought leaders to understand our clients' unique needs and challenges then design and propose tailored strategies that leverage advanced AI capabilities to create meaningful business impact and client value.

· The role possess deep process transformation expertise coupled with deep expertise in technology assets and assistants applicable to the Procurement domain
· Get certified on IBM Solution process ( Foundation initially)
· Develop end-to-end Procurement outsourcing solutions including spend analytics Sourcing contraction and procurement operations.
· Collaborate with internal ( Offering Legal Sales technology operations transition Global category leads Costing & pricing team ) and external teams ( IBM partners ) to develop / construct the solution
· Work with IBM Internal SAP Ariba Service Now Sales force Data and technology teams to construct the solution.
· Compliance to IBM Procurement solutions standards & Guardrails while designing solutions.
· Responsible to get IBM solution review board approval for Procurement solutions
· Define costing pricing models and business cases ensuring alignment with financial goals
· Lead client workshops RFP responses and solution presentations.
· Engage in Client discovery and assessment workshops
· Identify risks scalability challenges and optimization opportunities.
· Ensure solutions meet compliance security and regulatory requirements.
· Support pre-sales / pre-solution activities ( offering presentation to clients initial business case Understand client challenges identify opportunities and AI use cases )
· Stay ahead of industry trends in Procurement technology AI-driven support and customer experience transformation.
· Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI and GenAI applications in the Procurement domain. Regularly share insights and best practices with both clients and internal teams focusing on AI/GenAI implications.
- At least 7 years in delivery of Sourcing or Procurement outsourcing engagements
- Excellent client facing skills (in particular the ability to clearly articulate the value and rationale of the proposed solution in written presentation and oral formats)
- Consulting or Shared Services/ Business Process Outsourcing experience at a senior level in the Procurement arena with a focus on Transformation with demonstrable improvements in process redesign
- Strong technical skills with Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to build lasting relationships with clients at Executive level – a trusted partner
- Capability to develop solutions within a complex and demanding environment
- Able to challenge the existing solution standards and drive the evolution of our offerings to digitally enabled BPO services
- At least 5 years’ experience in selling outsourcing and/or consulting
- At Least 5 years’ experience as a Solutions Architect in the outsourcing industry
