Services/Solutions Executive - SLED - East Territory

Location: This is a remote opportunity. However the candidate must reside in the territory of the East Region. That includes: PA OH NY NJ DC MA CT VT.

About the role

Are you ready to join a leading player in the tech industry? Insight Public Sector is looking for a SLED Services/Solutions Executive to be a driving force in establishing our full portfolio solution delivery while driving sales in six key areas. With your keen sales skills and technical expertise you'll partner with our delivery team to increase revenue and uncover new opportunities for clients. As a trusted advisor you'll leverage your industry and technical knowledge to build relationships and identify new solution sales opportunities. Ongoing review update and maintenance of commission database used to track & compute variable compensation and set sales quotas

  • Identify develop and close solution sales opportunities.

  • Increase revenue by expanding clients' purchasing into new solutions categories.

  • Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives.

  • Achieve sales and profit goals through vendor partner teaming onsite client engagements and implementation support.

What we’re looking for

  • MBA or Master's Degree and 8-10+ years of technical sales experience

  • Public Sector (State Local and Education) solution sales experience

  • Certifications in sales and partner management complex sales training and negotiation skills

  • Excellent communication customer service and interpersonal skills

Internal teammate application guidelines:

  • Meet the minimum qualifications and requirements of the position;

  • Have completed minimum service time in current role based on department (ranges from 6 months to 2 years) and have current manager approval.

    • For Account Executives must be in role for at least 2 years and be a Level 2

    • For Client Fulfillment Center must be in role for at least 6 months

    • Unless noted above must be in role for at least 12 months

  • Not be under a disciplinary evaluation or suspension period;

  • Have satisfactory performance in their current position;

  • Have their current manager/supervisor recommendation
