IBM is looking for a self-driven and highly motivated procurement category manager with proven experience to join our IBM Procurement Services team for one of IBM’s key clients. As an Marketing Strategic Sourcing / Tactical Buyer you will support Marketing sourcing projects Along with Category Managers you will also be providing category insights to assist in their strategy development You may need to independently run larger scale procurement projects requiring independence of thought strong stakeholder management skills and advanced negotiation and support periodic key stakeholder meetings with client to review category strategy and activities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong communication skills Fluency in English
• 3-5 years of Sourcing experience
• Strong decision-making skills and demonstrated negotiation expertise
• Supplier relationship management expertise and client facing skills
• Proactive character and team player attitude
• High levels of personal drive initiative and commitment to business goals
• Team player attitude energetic and pragmatic personality with excellent communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with the following are bonus points but not necessary. You can learn them at IBM:
