What does a SOX & Compliance Manager do at Hogarth?
The role will be direct liaison officer with auditors to schedule and co-ordinate audits across both locations and ensure timely delivery of samples, responses to queries and managing portal information. key to success within this role will the standardisation of process and controls where appropriate across the two locations and supporting delivery of Green Sox audits.Â
The Successful candidate will be very detail-oriented deadline driven and have the personality to influence and drive compliance within the UK business.Â
- Support the end-to-end SOX, audit and internal control proceduresÂ
- Primary contact with external auditors who are Deloitte and PWC
- Perform pre audit testing to ensure all controls are performed and documented in accordance with WPP requirementsÂ
- Provide support to the UK finance team and performing key SOX audit preview controls related to vendor approvals, client approvals and vendor spend
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation on key SOX controlsÂ
- Ad hoc projects in the finance team; revenue, billing, credit control, payables and management accounting.Â
Candidate ProfileÂ
- Strong Academics intellectÂ
- Strong transactional accounting skillsÂ
- Audit experience, but operationally focusedÂ
- exposure to an effective understanding of principles of Sarbanes Oxley
- Exposure to WPP practices and tolls is an advantageÂ
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oralÂ
- Must be a team player Â
