We are currently seeking 2 dedicatedSpecial Education Teachersfor full time positions for the 2025-2026 school year at a school in Cook County, Illinois.
Details:
• Location:In-person (no virtual or hybrid option)
• Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:05 am - 3:15 pm
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours:35 hours
• Caseload: 2 openings: 1Elementary & 1 Middle School - Self Contained Classrooms
Responsibilities:
• Special Education Teachers for an elementary and a middle school self-contained classroom.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide instruction in a variety of settings, including small group and one-on-one instruction.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction as needed.
• Manage classroom behavior and provide a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress with parents and school administrators.
• Attend and participate in meetings related to students' education, including IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsement & LBS1
