SQL Server Database Developer, #552

Dev Technology Group seeks a SQL Server Database Developer. Dev Technology Group is a growing IT company with an employee-centered culture that works on mission-critical projects for the federal government. To support this mission, we leverage Agile and DevSecOps principles to provide services such as software development, biometrics & identity management, cloud & infrastructure optimization, IT & legacy modernization, and data management. This position is a hybrid role with remote work availability 3 days a week.

Clearance Level: Active Secret, - DoD

Required Education, Experience, and Skills: 

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience (database development) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Security + certification or willingness to immediately achieve certification
Extensive expertise with SQL databases and Microsoft SQL Server
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL, Transact SQL, PL/SQL), database application development, programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
Considerable experience with Microsoft Windows Server
Proficient in creating tables, views, stored procedures that interact with application
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure technologies
Ability to collaborate with team members and customer to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
