Sr. Business Analyst

Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst Location: San Jose, CA Job Type: Contract, Onsite Visa: H4EAD, GC, or US Citizen Contract: W2 Job Summary We are looking for a results-driven Sr. Business Analyst with strong experience in analyzing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise systems and processes. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions, with a solid background in CRM, ERP, and CPQ systems. You’ll play a critical role in gathering requirements, driving system enhancements, and supporting complex pricing and quoting logic through CPQ platforms. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze system and process requirements. Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and functional requirements. Analyze, enhance, and support CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Apttus) with a focus on product configuration, pricing rules, and quote automation. Coordinate with developers, QA, and solution architects to deliver features and system improvements. Support UAT, regression testing, and production rollouts for CRM, CPQ, and ERP systems. Document user stories, use cases, process flows, and technical diagrams. Conduct impact analysis for system changes and ensure cross-system consistency. Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams to align project goals. Provide support and troubleshooting for live systems and assist with training and onboarding as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Software Engineering, or related field. 8+ years as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related role. Experience with CPQ systems. Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, and integrated enterprise applications. Familiarity with pricing rules, discount structures, product bundles, and quote-to-cash workflows. Proficient in writing user stories, functional specs, and test cases. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications CPQ certifications. Hands-on experience with workflow automation, custom fields, and approval processes. Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, or reporting tools.
