Job Description

We are looking for our next Sr. Oracle DevOps Engineer as we accelerate our growth journey.

What you'll do:

• Accountable for QA, and release lifecycle for Oracle Fusion SaaS including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Field Service, Oracle CPQ, Oracle EPM, and other Oracle Cloud IaaS and PaaS capabilities
• Responsible for the development and operations lifecycle of scheduling, defining test plans manual and automated, communications, certification, and system release of quarterly and ongoing patches, updates, development enhancements, and project migrations
• Proactively research and communicate upcoming Oracle features, impacts, risk assessments, and provide recommendations for feature uptake or mitigations
• Manage environment clone scheduling and execution including planning, scheduling across vendors and integrations, post-clone steps and procedures, certification and system release communications
• Work with 3rd party managed services, consultants and SW vendors to ensure quality standards are met, testing requirements are complete, and production migrations are defect-free and continuous
• Support internal and outside audit activities including ITGC reporting and information gathering
• Develop, monitor and report on devop QA metrics and delivery KPIs such as quarterly release testing metrics, sprint throughput, re-work, backlog aging, etc.
• Establish, document and publish QA and release operations policies and procedures including release calendar, testing procedures and results, continuous improvement processes
• Represent IT Technical Shared Services function on all internal boards and committees such as Change Advisory Board, Architecture Review Board, and Data CoE, IT Demand Intake Committee

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years experience working with enterprise-level SW in DevOps, QA / Release management environments, and or Cloud Engineering environments
• 4 years hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle Fusion Applications
• Strong proficiency with six or more of the following: Oracle Field Service, Oracle EPM, Oracle OTM/GTM, Oracle DB, ATP, FBDI, SQL, BICC, BIP, scripting skills, GIT repositories, test automation, CI/CD concepts, AWS technologies
• Interest in learning new technologies and practical application towards continuous improvement
• Strong familiarity with Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales Operations, Service, and FP&A business acumen including forecast, demand planning, month end close processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization: interpret user requirements, identify the root cause, research possible solutions, identify most feasible solutions
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Proficient in prioritizing, multi-tasking and managing multiple projects using work management tools such as Jira, ITSM, MS Teams
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have an eye for detail and passion for quality and collaboration
