Job Description
Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio is a powerhouse collection of consumer-first brands, supported by media industry leaders, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky. Responsibilities

• 5+ years' experience in software development technologies.
• Proficiency with languages like GoLang, JavaScript etc.
• Experience in building real-time, large-scale, low latency distributed systems.
• Implement new features, fixes, and improvements with focus on backend performance, unpredictable situation adaptability etc.
• Technical experience with cloud-based technologies, specifically within architecture/infrastructure (AWS)
• Understanding of containerization as it relates to Cloud (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Contribute to the documentation, to assist stakeholders and fellow developers.
• Ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards, both in their own work and through code reviews.
• Contribute innovative ideas for how to improve both our ways of working and our codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, understand user needs and provide technical expertise.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, large-scale deployment, including the value of testing.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a global team.
• Push technical boundaries and propose new processes and technologies.
• Ensure quality and confidence in software by writing effective automated unit tests.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with video streaming technologies, protocols, and standards (HLS, DASH) is highly valued.
• Experience with media encoding, packaging, and delivery workflow.
• Ability to integrate into a large agile development project and manage rapid development cycles.
• Being an analytic problem solver with a strong sense of autonomy, but with an open collaborative approach to getting the job done.
