CACI is seeking an Automation Tester to join our project team at Naval Station Norfolk. This is a hybrid work environment assignment in which the selected candidate will be required to work on-site at least one day per work week and must reside within the local commuting distance (80 miles) to Naval Station Norfolk, VA.

CACI is seeking a multifunctional Automation Tester to join our multidiscipline IV&V team whose objective is to ensure that each release and update to the in-service product line meets - exceeds quality objectives. The selected candidate will have a crucial role in expanding the automation capabilities of the team. Therefore, it is crucial the selected candidate will be highly proficient with Micro Focus ALM and UFT and have experience in their use. The selected candidate has extensive experience in related skills such as SQL and VB Script. The person selected for this assignment will work closely with senior test engineers in support of objectives and timelines.

The selected candidate is expected to possess the following skills and knowledge areas:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in testing business application and enterprise information systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in static and dynamic software test activities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in creating software test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts and test data conditions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in mapping test cases to requirements and providing input to generate a requirements traceability matrix.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate with members of a software development or systems engineering team to accomplish project team goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to capture test data, analyze test results and clearly communicate (orally and written) findings and/or deficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to determine test approaches, develop test schedules and identify risks associated with testing.
  • Knowledgeable with Micro Focus ALM and UFT.
  • Knowledgeable with shared object repositories, function libraries and creating reusable actions.
  • Knowledgeable with Structed Query Language (SQL) and relational database management systems.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must have a secret clearance or be able to obtain an interim secret clearance and be able to obtain a T5 investigation clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP or related).
  • Bachelor's /Associates degree or equivalent, and 8 years + of related experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience with software testing and quality assurance in the development of software applications.
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience with automated testing with UFT using VB Script.
  • Must have least 2 years' experience with Java using TestNG with Selenium, Cucumber

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Appium
  • Familiarity with JIRA
