Job Summary:

Seeking a Sr. Data Analyst/Engineer to contribute to a new cutting-edge platform supporting big-name partners and customers. In this fast-paced environment, the team works with Product, QA, Operations, and Analytics to meet business needs. This position is a chance to join a highly collaborative agile team working on breaking new ground in the health information industry.

An ideal candidate should be a fast learner, self-driven, and detail focused. The candidate should be comfortable with Scala or Python and related frameworks or they must have strong Java experience with a desire to learn functional programming and perform ETL and BigData processing with Spark, Hadoop, and Hive. Strong analytical skills are a must when designing our platform architecture. The candidate should be able to follow requirement documents, design future-proof solutions, and voice his/her opinions on possible improvements and innovations.

Essential Job Functions:

* Healthcare Data analysis skills across data categories - Eligibility, Enrollment, Events, Labs/Biometrics, Referrals, Med Claims, Rx Claims, Dental Claims, Vision Claims, Utilization, Dental Accumulators

* Review/Profile Data feeds from multiple Clients/Vendors; Consistently map and confirm data to Sharecare standard format

* Technical skills: SQL, SQL Server, RDS on Cloud, AWS and understanding file formats used on Data exchange.

* Technical skills -- ETL Development; Understanding concepts of ETL development; Understanding concepts of Data Modeling

* Programming Languages (Proficiency in 1): Python, JAVA, R; Knowledge of any reporting Tools - Tableau, PowerBuilder is a Plus

* Review Data related Quality Control warnings and errors across data categories

* Monitor production runs, any operational issues and support Performance Guarantees across clients (Impacting about 10M active lives)

* Support new strategic state implementations -- performing data analysis and mapping.

* Help improve automation of the existing processes

Requirements

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field

* Detail focused engineer excited to learn new technologies and solve complex problems

* Experience programming for the JVM (Functional languages a plus)

* A strong understanding of concurrent, parallel, and distributed systems

* Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Redshift and related technologies a plus

* Experience with Python, Scala, SBT, and the Typesafe stack a plus

* Experience with Amazon SNS, Kafka, Kinesis MongoDB, Kubernetes, and GIT a plus

* Knowledge or experience in test driven development (TDD) and continuous deployment best practices

* Experience with machine learning algorithms and big data processing a plus

* A "can do" attitude and enjoys working within a highly collaborative and friendly work environment
