The Sr. Manager, Experience Development's primary role is to oversee the strategy and creation of employee engagement training and develop a roadmap with curriculum for the career development of our field employees. This role will drive dynamic education, implementation, and KPIS for employee retention and customer engagement. The Sr. Manager, Experience Development will cross-collaborate with Global internal teams to create a strategy that is in line with Benefit Cosmetics' brand values and goals and track employee development by country. Collaboration with regions from around the world is essential to drive positive business growth and employee retention. This Sr. Manager will work synergistically with key education and retail partners to create a holistic Benefit experience for the customer and in-store employee.

What You'll Do:

The Benefit Experience: Culture and Service training

  • Develop and refresh dynamic, customizable, cutting-edge service education tools, demonstrations, and programming to be leveraged across the globe
  • Pilot new services in key markets and track results
  • Update the Benefit Experience training to be inclusive of our values, pledges, culture, how to greet ( get curious), how to recommend ( MRC: cross-axis + core 4, selling skills, storytelling) , How to sit them down, how to smart sample, how to clientele and invite back
  • Collaborate with all internal Benefit teams, including Innovation, Marketing, and Creative to provide excellence in experience education
  • Integrate all three axes (makeup, pore care, service) into the experience
  • Identify and provide feedback on an ongoing basis to sales partners based on the field's feedback and observations of the benefits experience education program
  • Produce and present the program through a blended experience including eLearning, videos, and in-person training (which requires on-camera expertise as needed)

Brand

  • In partnership with HR partners, Marketing, and Copy, identify the storytelling and heritage journey for new and current Benefit employees
  • Ensure our branding and language are being properly implemented worldwide
  • Develop training and tools needed to learn the brand heritage of Benefit in digital and in-person assets

Professional Development

  • Identify skill-level competence needs
  • Evaluate and rate technical skills by country
  • Partner with Service and Product Education pillars to ensure Onboarding to the brand is consistent
  • Create modular onboarding training for experience onboarding with the ability to adjust by small, med, and large market

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years in the service industry
  • Knowledge of training development practices
  • Knowledge of the beauty industry a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel Outlook
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Video recording and editing skills a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 40%)

Schedule:

  • Hybrid- requires onsite presence weekly

The target salary range for this position is $93,000 - $125,000 USD annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
