Job Profile Summary:

The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for driving and executing the organization, development, and management of complex programs and strategic initiatives to successful completion. Develops and leads complex, matrix programs that drive results. A Sr. Program Manager owns complex projects and provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to Project Managers.  The ability to work collaboratively across a complex internal matrix is essential.

Key Activities:

  • Drives, creates, manages, and maintains complex programs and initiatives that align with the goals of the company and cross-functional organization (primarily solutions and engineering); Consider and document any dependencies and constraints including budget for area of responsibility. 
  • Ensure goals are met including engineering, client satisfaction, safety, quality, and team goals. 
  • Create and/or enforce a change management process to ensure program goals are achieved. 
  • Owns program or initiative proposals including funding to executives, gaining approval for execution. 
  • Meet and communicate with stakeholders regularly to ensure transparency of program status, issues, and decisions, including external stakeholders – such as clients. 
  • Outstanding ability to define a strategic path for success when presented with very difficult requirements or objectives. 
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the duration of the project. 
  • Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating program risks. 
  • Evaluating and assessing the programs’ strengths and weaknesses. 

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in Program Management.
  • 8-10 years direct work experience in a Project Manager capacity.
  • Proven experience in Project Management, leading teams and delivering challenging projects on time, on budget, with high quality. 
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelors Degree or appropriate experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certified
