Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

As a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer with Convera, you will coordinate recruiting activities, gather crucial metrics and analytics, and provide key administrative support across the globe. 

You will be responsible for: 

• Improve our overall incident management response to identify, mitigate and reduce risks.
• Proactively drive down Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) as much as possible.
• Bring the anti-fragility mindset to our architecture, deployment and observability.
• Position the customer experience as a true measure of reliability.
• Desire to learn new things and teach others the industry best practices as it pertains to practice of SRE.
• Drive blameless post-mortems, implement actionable alerts, and automate incident management.

You should apply if you have:

• Significant expertise operating complex, multi-region, distributed cloud-native systems in Amazon Web Services.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Python, Go, Rust, or any other modern programming language.
• Experience with global, multi-regional CICD, Production Readiness Reviews and eliminating toil via automation.
• Experience with service quality metrics (RED, Golden Signals), microservice SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience with Linux, cloud networking, microservices architecture and Amazon EKS.

Desired qualifications:

• Previous experience working in Fintech or other regulated industry.
• Experience with Grafana observability stack.
• Experience with Chaos Engineering.
