Description:

The Sr. Systems Engineer executes security controls to prevent unauthorized access from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing data network integrity. Using Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and researches attempted efforts to compromise security protocols and works to reduce or eliminate their threat. Maintains and configures HSM (Thales/Atalla) equipment to accommodate customer projects and goals using team standards and tools (PayShield). Administers security policies to control access to systems according to security best practice and PCI / FFIEC standards.

As SME for hardware security module (HSM) platforms, provide internal consulting and support at all levels with a focus on high quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Engage with application teams to scope HSM platform requirements for implementation and deployment.

Job Responsibilities:

Functions as part of a team, with specific responsibilities to include administering security policies to control access to HSM systems according to security best practice and PCI / FFIEC standards.

Utilizes applicable HSM key encryption methods and OSI Models to minimize threats.

On-call rotation shared with HSM Security team.

Perform key management and key ceremonies with HSM administration operations

Perform other duties as assigned.

Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

2 years' experience with network protocols, data flows, and vulnerabilities within a TCP/IP environment.

5 years hands-on HSM experience.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

3 years hands-on Thales product experience. Including but not limited to Luna & PayShield.

2 years' experience with other HSM technologies Atalla & FutureX

3 years' experience with Change Management based on ITIL.

3 years' experience working within PCI compliant environment.

Work Environment:

Standard work environment, exempt status, some overtime required.
