Sr. UXR, Program Enablement & Research Operations

We are looking for a hybrid UXR & Research Operations role to join our Research team at 1Password to support our UX research customer insights programs and research operational needs of the organization.

The ideal candidate brings a customer-first approach to the table. This person is self-motivated highly curious and has a passion for both UX research programs and is skilled at participant recruitment & management and vendor partnerships. You not only have the experience in conducting end-to-end research studies using mixed methods in a software environment but you know first-hand how to stand up and run organizational-wide research programs and processes to bring research insights to the rest of the organization in an actionable structured and scalable manner.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

• Research Programs Experience & Competencies

• 3+ years of relevant UX research experience in a software development or technology environment. Cybersecurity experience is a bonus

• Strong UX research portfolio that demonstrates meaningful business impact

• A proven track record of leveraging UX research and insights that drove both short-term tactical impact and help set long-term product vision and direction for the business

• Experience orchestrating and leading a variety of department-wide or organization-wide research and measurement programs such as Win/Loss Voice of the Customer (VoC) Customer Experience Measurement (CXM) NPS etc.

• Experience with quantitative research methods (quant survey design and analysis etc.) A/B testing & experimentation product analytics data and measurements a bonus

• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams (PMs Designers PMMs CSMs etc.) to collect internal and external data socialize and evangelize research findings in an actionable manner

• Ability to efficiently analyze qualitative and quantitative data using industry best practices

• You collaborate using strong communication written documentation and facilitation skills

• Awareness of the top-level business data and you use it to contextualize your work

• Research Operations Experience & Competencies

• Skilled at participant recruitment to ensure high-quality respondents to support user research studies

• Experience recruiting for and working with B2B participants

• Experience with research participant recruitment and management including but not limited to scheduling interviews managing internal research calendars participant incentives etc.

• Experience with evaluating onboarding and maintaining research tools

• A proven ability to effectively partner with and manage research vendor partners

• Experience establishing clear ways of working between Research and our key stakeholders including but not limited to Product Design Marketing and our GTM (Go-to-Market) teams

• Experience with data governance and applying its best practices

• Experience with creating and maintaining a research repository that is actionable and easily accessible by all 1Password team members

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $128000 USD and $173000 USD plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health dental 401k and many others) utilization of our generous paid time off an equity grant and where applicable participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $109000 CAD and $147000 CAD plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health dental RRSP and many others) utilization of our generous paid time off an equity grant and where applicable participation in our incentive programs.
