Role Summary
Mavenir is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sr Financial analyst with expertise in advanced modeling of financials to join our finance team. As Sr Financial analyst of FP&A, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our financial systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making. This role will include evolving our forecasting process to Oracle EPM to maximize our financial processes' efficiency, accuracy, and integrity.
You must be a self-starter, have an ability to communicate effectively with senior business leaders and have a desire to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, high-growth technology company.
The ideal candidate is extremely proactive, driven, well-organized, detail-oriented and has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oracle Financials Management: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Oracle Financials to support and maintain the financial systems, including general ledger, gross margin, fixed assets, and workforce modules.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets using Excel and Oracle/EPM tools. A good understanding of P&Ls, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows is required. Develop cost forecast structure on project and product level, ensure project and product profitability and variance analysis. Conduct financial, variance, and trend analyses to identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Generate financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses using Oracle and EPM tools. Support internal and external audits as required.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to finance and non-finance users on Oracle and EPM systems, ensuring proper system utilization and adherence to best practices. Act as a subject matter expert, troubleshoot system issues, and address user inquiries effectively.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements, implement system enhancements, and ensure data integrity. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor for finance-related matters.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of professional work experience in corporate finance (specifically financial planning & analysis) and/or accounting.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a self-starter.
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle Financials modules and Oracle EPM Cloud tools a plus. This role will include Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Finance Planning, Workforce Planning, Capital Planning and Financial Consolidation Close Modules knowledge.
- Can think strategically while managing with a sense of urgency through ambiguities.

- B.S. or B.A. in accounting, finance or business required.
