Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Under general supervision, the Strategic Account Manager (RNC) will be responsible for strategically managing relationships with National Account partners to prioritize market share and higher profitability.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for designated National Account customers. Manage and develop strong relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction and positive long-term relationships.
  • Assists or leads in contract negotiations and process, then manages elements once executed: proposal preparation, pricing, terms, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to sustain sales and execute initiatives.
  • Obtain and communicate customer forecasting plans in clear, concise executive-summary manner to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Present strategic business development opportunities and updates to executive leadership.
  • Provide and facilitate marketing, product, sales, product, and program training as needed.
  • Consult and collaborate with field sales managers, and coach and mentor their representatives and dealers (installing contractors) on home builder opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the HVAC industry, including emerging trends and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations to reach organizational objectives.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year related experience.3 years of HVAC and Homebuilding industry experience preferred.
  • Requires advanced abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

This is a remote-based opportunity that offers a commission-based incentive plan with a compensation range of $107,100 - $132,300 which will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and education. In addition, you will have a company car plus fuel card.

*This is a remote-based opportunity with 60% travel expected. Ideal candidate can reside in their current city,state or be open to relocating to Richardson, TX. Relocation assistance is available if required.
